Situated a 3 hour drive outside of the capital, Khao Yai is home to Thailand’s oldest National Park and a number of scenic vineyards. The UNESCO World Heritage Site is an ideal rural getaway promising accents of Europe in Asia as well as some of the most spellbinding scenery to be found within the country.
Spend the day of this tour exploring the many picturesque wonders of Khao Yai from the cascading Heow Suwat waterfalls used in the film ‘The Beach’ to the indigenous elephants with MinMax Travel. Settle your stomach in GranMonte’s VinCotto restaurant with its home-style cooking before exploring the vines of Asoke Valley.

  • Day 1 - Bangkok - Khao Yai

    Place Transport: Car->Boat
    Meals:
    Arrive in Bangkok, MinMax Travel’s tour guide pick you up and then transfer to Khao Yai. First stop at Wat Sothorn Wararam Worawiharn with its remarkable beauty of Italian marbled temple hall then take a boat trip on Bangprakong River to Talaat Baan Mai, a hundred-year-old market and Wat Leng Hok Yee - a Chinese shrine with papier-mâche sculptures, continue to Talaat Klong Suan, another 100-year old canal side market which impresses visitors with the everyday simple lifestyle of locals. Continue by car to Suan Khun Thor garden near Wang Nam Keaw where you can take a traditional Thai health check-up with a respected local traditional doctor (Note: doctor not available on Mondays). Arrive at the Village Farm and Winery and visit the vineyard. Check in hotel and freshen up. Then continue drive to Kirimaya Khao Yai following a scenic road that runs alongside the National Park. Overnight at Khao Yai.

    Day 2 - Drive to National Park - Enjoy Heow Suwat Waterfalls - Explore ther vineyard

    After a breakfast at the hotel, drive into the National park, stop and start a 1 km walk through the forest to Nong Phug She Tower which is located near Nong Phug Shee pond, the main water source for many kinds of animal, and where you have a good chance of seeing elephants and other indigenous wildlife. Continue to Heow Suwat Waterfalls and enjoy a refreshing swim in the cool water. Drive through scenic countryside to the nearby Grande Monte Vineyard in Asoke Valley for lunch at Vincotto, a charming restaurant. After that, explore the vineyard and experience the wine and grape fruit tasting.Overnight at Khao Yai

    Day 3 - Khao Yai Depature

    Meals: Breakfast
    Breakfast at the hotel and morning is free at leisure until transfer to airport for your departure flight.
