These traditional dwellings were constructed by the indigenous ethnic Malaysian people and served as a home to extended family members.     Day 13 - Dalat – Transfer to Ho Chi Minh City (B,L)

    After breakfast start to drive from Dalat to Ho Chi Minh City at 8.00AM. Along the scenic 7 hour drive along Highway 20 to Saigon will be broken up by stops at some of the tea and coffee plantations. Then visit Pongour Fall. It is located in the primeval jungle; only trails are enough for just hunter’s foot. In the past, to go to these falls, people must go through many difficulties, but in 1999, Pongour jungle was opened. Located in Tan Hoi commune, Duc Trong district, 45km to Da Lat, it is about 7km from Highway 20. Travelers give Pongour nickname “The first Southern extraction waterfall first Southern extraction”.     Around 8 AM meet our guide and driver for private pick up and start to visit Cu Chi Tunnel: Located 60km from Ho Chi Minh city, Cu Chi is now considered a heroic district for its role in the anti - American war in Vietnam. It is legendary for its tunnels system of over 220km and is a popular spot for both Vietnamese and foreign visitors. The peacefully rural rice paddy scenery contains ducks and water buffalos swimming in the rivers alongside the road. Visitors will find it hard to imagine the destructions, damage and defoliation all over the area, caused by bombing and mines, When Cu Chi was “A Free Target Zone ". Proceed to evergreen islands among the Mekong River through a large network of meandering tributaries, crisscrossed with countless arroyos.     Day 3 - Ninh Binh – Mai Chau (B,L,D)

    Mai Chau is the heart of a beautiful valley. It is a world away from the hustle and bustle of Hanoi. The modern village is an unappealing sprawl. Howrver, as you emerge on the rice fields and rural living, it is transformed into a real paradise. We will drive our own way through villages, valleys of Ha Tay and Hoa Binh province. Lunch break at Hoa Binh town, visit Hoa Binh Hydro power- the biggest one in Viet Nam.     Day 5 Son La – Dien Bien Phu (B,L,D)

    After having early breakfast in the morning we drive to Bac Ha Market. It takes us 2.5 hour driving to get there.This is the largest market in the region, a place where many ethnic groups gather to buy and sell, eat and drink together. There are 10 minority groups in the Bac Ha region. You can buy homemade handicrafts and clothes. In the afternoon we will have a 2 hour trek to Ban Pho village (Flower H'Mong people). In the village we can have a look in their house and understand little more about their lifestyle and traditional customs. Especially, we can try homemade wine from corn. Then, back to Sapa and spend the night at hotel in Sapa.

    Day 9 - Sapa – Lao Chai – Ta Van - Night train back to Hanoi (B,L,D)
