  • Day 1 - Bangkok Arrival

    Day 2 - City Temple Tours- Grand Palace & Emerald Buddha Temple

    The tour takes you through some of the most interesting parts of Bangkok, including stops at the Temple of the Reclining Buddha (Wat Pho) which is famous as the oldest and largest temple in Bangkok, and the Temple of the Golden Buddha (Wat Trimit) which is the home of a 5.5 ton Buddha image, found when the port of Bangkok was being expanded and dating back more than 200 years.Visit the Grand Palace, Coronation Hall and the holiest of all Thai Temples “The Emerald Buddha Temple” (Wat Phra Kaew) where the replica of Angkor Wat and the late Ayutthaya-style murals on the surrounding walls illustrate scenes from the Ramayana are included in the temple's compound.

    Day 3 - Damnoensaduak Floating Market- Kanchanaburi

    A 120 km drive to the most colorful Floating Market in Thailand. Pass the largest source of Salt Production in Thailand along the roadside of the highway. At Damnoen Saduak, visit the gardener's house and see how the sugar is being made right from the coconut tree. And take the long tailed speedboat to the main part market. See a fascinating Thai's life from the ancient time which is still widely practiced in this area. A chance to try various kinds of exotic Thai fruits and choices of Thai handicrafts available at the spot. Later on, continue to Kanchanaburi for visit the infamous Bridge over the River Kwai as the Memorial of World War II. Then, visit at the War museum and war cemetery nearby. Check in at the hotel and free at leisure.

    Day 4 - Kanchanaburi- Ayutthaya- Bangkok

    After breakfast, transfer to Ayutthaya the former capital of Thailand. Visit one of the most beautiful Summer Palace namely Bang Pa-In Summer Palace. Later on, transfer to Krung Sri River for buffet Lunch. Later, embark to Temple of Ruins , Wat Phra Sri Sanpetch (The former Royal Temple), Wat Yai Chai Mongkol (the temple of reclining Buddha Image and biggest chedi), Wat Mahathat (where the head of Lord Buddha Image is corvered by Poh Tree so far), Wat Ratchabura (where the national treasure were kept). After that, return to the hotel in Bangkok and free at leisure.

    Day 5 - Bangkok- Chiang Rai- Chiang Saen

    Breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the airport for flight depart to Chiang Rai. Upon arrival, meet our local tour guide before transferring to Chiang Saen. After checking in, proceed to the infamous Golden Triangle renowned for centuries as the center of the opium trade. From a hill top viewpoint, marvel at the splendor of the mighty Mekong joining with the Ruak and forming the actual “Triangle” with Laos Burma and Thailand. Visit the Opium museum nearby before return to the hotel.

    Day 6 - Mae Sai- Doi Tung- Chiang Mai

    Breakfast at the hotel, tour to Mae Sai Border Market which is one of the biggest border market where you can access to Tha Khi Lek Province, and Myanmar . At the market, you will find a lot of goods, local products and many items which are import from China and yanmar such as electronic devices, fruits, clothes, stones, jewelry, Jade and etc. Lunch at a local restaurant before continue to Doi Tung or Switzerland of Asia to visit Doi Tung, look no further outstanding than the Mae Fah Luang Garden where is situated at an elevation of 950 meters above sea-level, the Mae Fah Luang Garden consists of flowerbeds planted with a dazzling variety of flowers and shrubs from all corners of the world; among these, over 70 species of cool climate and temperate ornamental and flowering plants that thrive at high altitude are planted in the midst of native plants, leafy shrubs and perennials. A myriad of flowering plants come into bloom all year round and form a splendid hill-side tapestry that changes with the seasons. After that, transfer to Chiang Mai. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel and free at leisure.

    Day 7 - Doi Suthep Temple- Meo Doi Pui- local Handicraft Village

    The journey begins with a visit to a Meo Hill tribe village. Since they originally migrated from South China, the physical features of the tribe are similar to Chinese. They prefer large families. They practice shifting agriculture. Mostly planting upland rice, corn and soybeans. Generally, you will find that the womenfolk's works harder than the men. A traits similar with most hill tribes. Their houses are not built on stilt rather directly on the ground. Due to its proximity to Doi Suthep, this particular village is slightly more commercial and less traditional. Doi Pui was once famous for opium cultivation. It's 1500 meters above the sea level. The trip continues on to Wat Doi Suthep Temple. Driving up offers a panoramic view of Chiang Mai city. Later on, embark to the San Kamphaeng district, heart of the silk and cotton home industries to witness the fascinating process of making and weaving these popular fabrics. Continue on the Bor Sang, the umbrella village where the delicate Thai paper umbrellas are produced and hand-painted. From here, onward to Thai Celadon, about 6kms north of Chiang Mai where exquisite ceramics are produced. These are modeled on the Sawankhalok pottery that used to be made hundreds of years ago at Sukhothai and exported all over the region. With its deep, cracked glazed finish the style is very distinctive and some pieces are exceptionally beautiful. Last but not least, there are some stops to observe the intricacies of both lacquer ware and silverware craftsmen.

    Day 8 - Chiang Mai- Trekking Hill Tribe Villages

    Leave from Chiang Mai by pick up truck to the hill tribe village, en-route at waterfall before drive to Hot Spring, then have an enjoy trekking 1.5 hrs to Karen Village. Dinner and overnight at the village.

    Day 9 - Trekking Lisu Village- Karen Village- Lahu Village

    After breakfast, walk around the village and observe how people live their life, usual activities and the unique traditional as closely before walking to the elephant camp (45 min). Enjoy elephant riding for 1.5 hr through the scenery jungle before stopping to visit at Lahu Village.

    Day 2 - Ha Noi City Tour - Train to Sa Pa

    Day 3 - Lao Cai - Sa Pa Tour

    Day 10 - Hoi An - Class cooking

    We start the day (8.15am) with a welcome drink at Hai Café (98 Nguyen Thai Hoc Street, Hoi An Ancient Town, Tel: 863210) – our meeting point.
    Visit Hoi An’s colourful market, and experience the amazing sights, sounds and aromas of this busy market. We will have the opportunity to interact with the local sellers and learn about all the ingredients to be used in the cooking lesson later.
    We board the Red Bridge boat for a leisurely cruise (25 minutes) along the Hoi An River to the Red Bridge Cooking School. This is a chance to view local river life, so make sure your camera is handy.
    On arrival, we explore the cooking school’s herb garden, before learning about some of Hoi An’s and Vietnam’s well-known dishes. The cooking lesson runs for about 2 hours – the Red Bridge chefs first demonstrate each dish before we prepare the same dish ourselves. Included in the class is a brief introduction to Vietnamese food carving (plate decoration). After the lesson, we sit down and eat what we have cooked.

    Day 11 - Hoi An - My Son - Hoi An

    Day 14 - Ho Chi Minh City – Cai Be Floating Market – Can Tho

    Day 2 - Ho Chi Minh City - Mekong Delta

    Visit the Mekong Delta, the heart of South Vietnam, dotted with rice paddies and fruit plantations. Take a boat trip to Thoi Son Island, where we walk through local markets and visit the Vinh Trang Pagoda. After lunch, we'll return to Ho Chi Minh City

    Day 3 - Ho Chi Minh City

    Today, we enjoy a full day tour of this bustling city. Visit the Reunification Palace, War Remnants Museum, Notre Dame Cathedral, Central Post Office, Cholon (Chinatown), Binh Tay Wholesale Market and Thien Hau Pagoda. We finish our day at Ben Thanh Market where we can shop for some bargains.

    Day 4 - Ho Chi Minh City - Da Lat

    This morning, we fly to Dalat to visit Bao Dai’s Summer Palace, the former railway station and the central market.

    Day 5 - Da Lat

    We head to the base of Lang Bian Mountain this morning to visit Da Lat Village and the local market. We continue to the Lake of Sighs followed by Truc Lam Pagoda. This afternoon, you are at leisure to explore the peaceful town of Dalat.

    Day 6 - Da Lat to Nha Trang

    After breakfast, we travel through the breathtaking Ngoan Muc Pass to the coastal town of Nha Trang.

    Day 7 - Nha Trang

    Enjoy a boat trip to the nearby islands off Nha Trang where we can swim and snorkel. We also visit a fishing village before returning to Nha Trang where we enjoy the afternoon at leisure.

    Day 8 - Nha Trang to Hoi An

    Fly to Danang this morning and transfer to the UNESCO World Heritage listed - Hoi An. Stop at Marble Mountains and My Khe beach en route. This afternoon, we enjoy a walking tour of Hoi An, visit Hoi An Market, a local Chinese temple and the Japanese Covered Bridge.

    Day 9 - Hoi An City

    After visiting a market to purchase ingredients, we travel along Hoi An River to the Red Bridge Restaurant where we can join in a cooking class; we learn some traditional recipes and indulge in our dishes for lunch.

    Day 10 - Hoi An to Hue

    Meals: Breakfast - Lunch
    Head to the north this morning over the scenic Hai Van Pass to Hue. In Hue, we enjoy a cyclo ride to the Imperial Citadel and the Forbidden Purple City. Visit Thien Mu Pagoda and take a cruise along the Perfume River.

    Day 11 - Hue to Hanoi

    Meals: Breakfast - Lunch - Dinner
    This morning, we visit the UNESCO World Heritage listed Royal Tombs of Tu Duc and Khai Dinh before we transfer to the airport for our flight to Hanoi. This evening, we enjoy a performance of the famous Water Puppets.

    Day 12 - Hanoi City Tour

    Today, we visit Ho Chi Minh Quarter to see Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum (closed Sep-Dec), Humble House on Stilts and One Pillar Pagoda. Continue on to the Temple of Literature and the Tran Quoc Pagoda. In this afternoon, we enjoy a walk through Hanoi’s charming Old Quarter.

    Day 13 - Hanoi - Ha Long Bay.

    At around 8 am, start your journey to Ha Long Bay and arrive at around midday to board a traditional junk for an overnight cruise. Ha Long Bay is widely considered to be one of the natural wonders of the world. Thousands of towering pillars of sea and wind-carved limestone karst make the bay an unforgettable sight. After lunch, explore some of the huge limestone caves dotted around the bay and visit a floating fishing village. Then, the captain will find a secluded spot where you can swim, soak up the sun on the top deck, or try your hand at kayaking. In the evening, enjoy a seafood feast for dinner. Stay overnight in the Cruise.

    Day 14 - Ha Long - Ha Noi

    Enjoy an early morning swim (during the summer), followed by breakfast as you cruise through more spectacular scenery. In the afternoon, drive back to Hanoi where you will have one more evening to sample its fabulous cuisine and explore the Old Quarter.
