Bangkok City Safari


Take advantage of Bangkok's fantastic local transportation as you travel through the capital in an eco-friendly manner. Join your guide for a ride on the Skytrain for great views of the city, and on to a public boat along the Chao Praya River.     After breakfast at your hotel, meet with your guide and head out of your hotel for an original full day of sightseeing in the City of Angels using exclusively public means of transportation. Walk to the nearest BTS Station and get on the Skytrain for a short ride to the terminal station of Saphan Taksin on the banks of the Chao Phraya River. Continue by public boat to Tha Thien pier where you disembark to visit Wat Po the home of Thai massage and the reclining Buddha. Continue to visit the Grand Palace. The Royal Grand Palace is the nation's landmark and the most revered royal monument and host of the mysterious Emerald Buddha. Appropriate dress is required (or can be rented on site). Lunch might be taken in a local restaurant nearby the palace.
    In the afternoon, walk or Tuk Tuk across the royal fields of Sanam Luang and eventually push up to the backpacker's mecca of Khao San Road (approx 20 mn). Back to the Thai Champs Elysees, Rachadamnoen where you'll get in tuk-tuks to reach the end of the avenue and the historical Klong (Canal) Saen Saap. Board the klong "bus-boat" and cross the city to the west. Disembark for a short walk in Ratchathewi boat station to visit Jim Thompson's House Museum. After the visit, it's time for shopping in one of the 5 huge shopping complex of the area (MBK, Siam Square, Siam Center, Siam Discovery, Siam Paragon), or simply return to your hotel by BTS.

Continue through fruit plantations to the hilltop temple of Wat Banan followed by an exciting ride on the local bamboo train. This afternoon, continue through the countryside to visit cottage industries like rice paper production, weaving centers and even a fish paste factory.     In the morning, we will join with villagers on a walk through community forest areas to learn of their importance. As you walk, you will collect seeds of threatened trees that need to protect and replant. When you arrive back to the village, we will prepare the seeds that you collected for germination at the community tree nursery.  These seedlings will be planted by villagers in the next rainy season. Embark on an adventure down the river on a bamboo raft passing waterfalls and towering mountains as you go. In the evening, spend some time assisting local school teachers at the community education center. 

    Day 4 - Seuang River – Pak Ou Caves – Cruise to Luang Prabang

Ha Tien town - Kien Giang

From the 18th century, Ha Tien has been one of the crowded trading townships, a port full of ships from western and Asian countries. The trading shop and stalls of the Chinese people were spring up. Ha Tien sea is currently one of the beautiful landscapes with originated scene, quiet and romantic, a masterpiece gifted by nature.


About 93km from the main centre of Kien Giang city, Ha Tien is famous for the beautiful landscape and visited by many visitors. The mountain around Ha Tien is grandiose with green color like the partition from the sea and mountain.

Standing in the peak of the mountain, with one side is South China sea, and the other is Voi Phuc mountain, you could have an overview for the township with Vietnam travel guide. Behind the Binh Mountain, Thach Dong Cave is famous for the legend of the Thach Sanh man fight the monster expressed in the stalactites according to the imagination of the ancient people with many interesting points.
To the South, we could see Hon Chong (Spike Mountain), this is a mountain surrounded by the blue water and waves all day long like a story of the father and his child together defeating the evils of the sea.
Ha Tien has tens of landscape that is well known such as: Dong Ho An Nguyet, Binh San Diep Thuy, Thach Dong Thon Van, Loc Chi Thon Cu, etc. Next to the shore, there are some islands like Hai Tac (pirates) which is about 11km from the Mui Nai beach. Visitors could witness the coral, sea snail; enjoy the historical landscape on the boat, going fishing, water skiing, skyscraper, etc.
In the journey from the Hang Pagoda to some minutes on the canoe, you could come to Gia Long cave. You could also visit the other famous landscapes of Ha Tien such as temple of Nguyen Trung Truc, tomb of the general Le Kim Dinh, etc, that will give you the new adventurous feeling.
Coming to Ha Tien, visitors could enjoy the meat of bien mai grilled on the red charcoal. This is a species which appears in the 5m deep rock bench. The tail of bien mai is stick to the rock, and its body is vertical along the waves. This is a specialty of Ha Tien.

    Day 2 - Phnom Penh - Siem Reap

    Visit the ancient capital of Angkor Thom (12th century). See the South Gate (with its huge statues depicting the churning of the ocean of milk), Bayon Temple (unique for its 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces of Avolokitesvara), the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, the Elephant Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King.
    In the afternoon, visit the most famous of all the temples on the Angkor plain: Angkor Wat. The temple complex covers 81 hectares and is comparable in size to the Imperial Palace in Beijing . Its distinctive five towers are emblazoned on the Cambodian flag and the 12th century masterpiece is considered by art historians to be the prime example of classical Khmer art and architecture. Angkor Wat's five tower symbolize Meru's five peaks, the enclosed wall represents the mountains at the edge of the world and the surrounding moat symbolizes the ocean beyond.
    Enjoy sunset from Phnom Bakheng which is one of two hills dominating the plain of Angkor. From here, you will have a spectacular view of West Baray and Angkor Wat. Stay overnight in Siem Reap.

    Day 3 - Siem Reap Departure

Included are Prasat Kravan (with its unique brick sculptures), Sra Srang ("The Royal Baths" was once used for ritual bathing), Banteay Kdei (surrounded by four concentric walls), Eastern Mebon (guarded at its corner by stone figures of harnessed elephants, some of which are still in a reasonable state of preservation) and the "Mountain Temple " of Pre Rup.
    In the afternoon, transfer to the archaeological site and continue the temple tour. Visit Ta Prohm, one of the most beautiful temples in the area. Ta Prohm has been left relatively untouched since it was discovered and retains much of its mystery. Then visit Takeo, Thommanon and Chau Say Tevoda temples. Transfer to Siem Reap airport for departure to next destination.

  • Day 1 - Luang Prabang Arrival - City Tour

    You are welcomed to Luang Prabang, which is the ancient first capital of Lane Xang kingdom, the center of religious life in Laos and today the World Heritage City. Transfer to hotel for check-in. In the afternoon, take a sightseeing tour of the sacred city of temples which nearly fifty still remain in the town and surrounding areas. Visit the National Museum, the former Royal Palace which houses the collection of valuables including the famous Prabang Buddha statue, Wat Visoun- the 16th century temple served as a small museum for religious artifacts, Wat Aham- the early 19th century temple, whose two guardian figures at the foot of the steps which represent two characters from the Ramayana – Hanuman, the Monkey God and a fierce Yaksa, Wat Xiengthong- the 16th century temple which is more than any temples in Luang Prabang, epitomizes all the elegance and grace of Luang Prabang architecture, Phousi Hill- the 328 steps leads to the summit of Phousi Hill that dominates the sky-line of Luang Prabang overlooking the finest panoramic view in the whole Luang Prabang.

    Day 2 - Luang Prabang - Trek to Ban Long Lao - Kuang Si Waterfall

    After having the breakfast at hotel, take an excursion by car uphill through beautiful scenic views with local style-villages to visit Ban Long Lao wich is a small Hmong hill tribe village. It's probably the best-known hill tribe in Laos. Begin to trek (3-4 hrs) through beautiful lushly forested area and also rice fields to Kuangsi Waterfall which though not very high but, it is spectacular and really beautiful with its green surroundings as the national protected forest area. Then we will have a picnic lunch by the Kuangsi Waterfall where there is plenty of time for your relaxing and a swim in the cool water before taking a drive to get back to Luang Prabang.

    Day 3 - Luang Prabang - Nong Khiao - Mouang Ngoi Village - Khmu Village

    Meals: Breakfast - Lunch - Dinner
    Breakfast at hotel, take an excursion by car (about 3hrs) to NongKhiao, the boat landing village, then take a boat (45 mn) upstream on the Nam Ou river to get to Mouang Ngoi village which is a very peaceful village on the left bank of Nam Ou rivern and surrounded by beautiful range of mountains and also high cliffs.The afternoon is to explore the highlights of this scenic area by boat (1hr) and visit ethnic village of Khmu on the riverside. Begin to kayak back to Muang Ngoi, pasting the base of stunning karsts limestone Mountains through fun rapids.

    Day 4 - Trek to Khmu and Low Villages - relax and swim in waterfalls

    Have breakfast at guest house and then begin to have one of the highlights of the trip is to trek through pristine environments of the unspoiled forested areas including exploring the natural caves which was home of the villagers during the war (1960-1972) as well as the  beautiful small waterfalls where there is a plenty of time for relaxing and swimming in the cool water before you will visit more ethnic villages of Khmu and also Low land Lao where you will learn more rural life of these fascinating people. Get back to Muang Ngoi in late afternoon.

    Day 5 - Nam Ou river - Luang Prabang - Pak Ou Cave - Ban Xang Khong Weaving village

    After breakfast, we take a boat trip downstream on Nam Ou river to Luang Prabang. On the way, photo-stops can be made and also for relaxing to see more ethnic villages. Stop to visit Pak Ou cave in the side of a lime stone cliff and opposite of the mouth of the Mekong and Nam Ou rivers. The sanctuaries at Pak Ou consists of two large caves, both repositories for thousands of Buddha images which range from mere centimeter to two meters in height. Continue by car to drive from Ban Pak Ou which is a village opposite of Pak Ou cave to Luang Prabang. On the way, stop at Ban Xangkhong- the well-known village for its wood paper-making and also Lao silk weavings with natural dyes.

    Day 6 - Luang Prabang Depature

    Place Transport: Car->Airplane 
    Meals: Breakfast
    Have breakfast at hotel, be free at leisure until for your own shopping or strolling through Luang Prabang ancient city before being transferred to airport for departure.
